Four cubicles. New showers. Better changing.
Bridport Leisure Centre currently has two accessible changing rooms. Families, disabled people, visitors with additional needs and anyone who needs a little more privacy are sharing those rooms.
We are converting unused locker-area space into four large changing cubicles, one with a private shower, and five drench showers. Groundworks are complete. Our Crowdfunder is raising £15,000 towards the cubicles.
Palmers Brewery has pledged up to £2,000 through its Community Fund, matching gifts from the public. Until that match is fully drawn down, every donation works twice.
You can give any amount, or choose a thank you: a fish on our poolside shoal, a personalised tile, a named supporter place, a staff session for your business, or the sponsorship of one of the four new cubicles.
Bridport & West Dorset Sports Trust Ltd is a registered charity (No. 267781). Eligible donations may also attract Gift Aid.
Palmers Brewery will match community gifts up to £2,000.
Open Pledge – from £1
Some gifts do not need a name on the wall.
From £1, an open pledge goes straight to the locker-area project, four large changing cubicles and the showers that belong with them. It also helps draw down Palmers Brewery’s Community Fund match.
If you have waited outside one of our two accessible rooms, this is the most direct way to help add another.
Sponsor a Fish – £25
A small fish, on the pool it learned to swim in.
For £25 you sponsor one fish in a permanent shoal in our pool area.
The gift also helps fund the changing rooms families use when the lesson ends.
Two Fish – £40
Two names. One shoal. A gift that belongs to a whole family.
For £40, two personalised fish join the permanent display.
A straightforward choice for siblings, cousins, or a grandparent who wants both names on the pool they learned in.
Three Fish – £50
Three fish make a proper little school.
For £50 you place three named fish in the permanent shoal.
A gift that will still be there when those children have grown out of armbands, and a contribution to the cubicles behind the water.
Each fish carries one child’s name. The colour is allocated at random, so the display stays lively.
Sponsor a Tile – £40
A few words, fixed to the building.
For £40 you sponsor a tile on poolside. The message is yours: a family name, a short dedication, or a line for someone who swam here.
Keep the wording short so it sits comfortably with the tiles already in place. After you pledge, we will be in touch to set your inscription, or you can collect a form from reception.
Bronze Supporter – £100
A name the building can keep.
As a Bronze Supporter your name appears on our digital wall of support inside the centre, and a dedicated Bronze tile is installed on poolside.
Twenty-five places. A public record that you helped a local charity finish the changing rooms it now needs.
Silver Supporter – £250
Silver is for the supporter who wants the rooms built, and is prepared to be counted.
At £250 your name goes on our digital wall of support, and a Silver tile is set into poolside.
A substantial gift to a local charity, felt against the £15,000 cubicle target, and honourable beside Palmers Brewery’s match.
Gold Supporter – £500
Gold is a serious gift to a serious local building.
For £500 you become a Gold Supporter: your name on the digital wall, and a Gold tile permanently installed on poolside.
Five hundred pounds is one-thirtieth of the Crowdfunder target. Gifts at this level change how soon families and disabled users will find a free room.
Corporate team session – £1,000
A private staff session, and a poolside tile
Give your team a morning they will talk about. Give the town better changing rooms.
For £1,000 we deliver an exclusive staff session. You choose SkillX, Hyrox, Kinesis or Group Cycling. Our professional team runs it. Your company name goes on a personalised poolside tile.

Business Promotion Package – £1,000
Seen by more than 150,000 visits a year
Put your name where 150,000 visits a year already pass.
The package includes an A0 poster in the centre, a feature on our digital screens, a dedicated post to our 6,000-plus followers, and a personalised poolside tile.
Six packages only. A visible association with a charitable community facility, given in return for helping install the cubicles our users now wait for.
Sponsor a Cubicle – £1,500
A plaque on one of the four new doors
Four doors. Four plaques. Four rooms that do not exist yet.
For £1,500 you sponsor one of the new accessible changing cubicles. A permanent plaque will be fixed to the door, with wording you approve. One of the four cubicles includes a private shower.
Four sponsorships only. This is the pledge closest to the purpose of the appeal.
Every gift, of any size, helps us finish changing rooms that more of West Dorset can use with dignity and ease.
