Will Thrower

I have been working at Bridport Leisure Centre since October 2008 as a Duty Manager and was promoted to the role of Full time Operations Manager in April 2014.  Prior to this I was working at Budmouth Sports Centre in Weymouth.

Within my role I oversee the Daily Operations of the Centre at all levels. It is also my responsibility to ensure that our staff deliver the highest level of Customer Service to everyone visiting the Centre. In addition to this, I am also responsible for Health & Safety.

I have a degree in Sport Development & Coaching Sciences and since joining Bridport Leisure Centre, I have gained a number of Sport and Leisure related qualifications including; IOSHH Managing People Safely, Pool Plant Operators Certificate and also my First Aid at Work qualification.

In my spare time I enjoy playing football and have recently taken up skittles, which I am thoroughly enjoying.

I am extremely excited about this new chapter within my career and look forward to the challenges that I will face.
