and cheer on participants in our Half Hyrox Simulation!

On SATURDAY 5TH JULY 2025

we will be holding a Community Fun Day from 10am to 8pm

as part of the Bridport Leisure Centre’s 50-year anniversary fundraising campaign!

There will also be the opportunity to take part in an Acro Dance session or a Water Polo Taster!

Acro Dance blends dance and gymnastic moves, focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, balance and agility. 

As part of our Community Fun Day we are holding an Acro Dance session for children aged 6 to 11 years.

The session will take place on Saturday 5th July from 1,45pm to 2.15pm and costs £7, which will be added to our fundraising total.

Tumble into fun at our Community Fun Day! 

A fun-packed introduction to Waterpolo. Learn key skills, game strategy and teamwork! 

As part of our Community Fun Day we are offering children aged 7 to 11 years (KS) the opportunity to try something new with our Waterpolo Taster Session. 

Waterpolo is a high-energy sport that keeps kids active while having fun in the water. It helps build confidence in the water, improve endurance, and strengthen swimming techniques. 

Plus, a taster session is a fantastic way to try something new without a long-term commitment! 

The session will take place on Saturday 5th July from 11.30am to 12.15pm and costs £8.50, which will be added to our fundraising total.

HALF HYROX SIMULATION

Get ready to challenge yourself and support your local Leisure Centre as you tackle our Half HYROX Simulation challenge! Participants will run 500m in between each of the HYROX 8 zones. Distances will be halved, weights will remain the same except in Sled Pull and Push where a medium weight between Men and Women will be used.

This event will test your strength, endurance and agility. Whether you’re an athlete, a regular at our HYROX Classes or just looking to get started, this is for everyone. Work at your own pace without any competition pressure – this is for fun!

Half HYROX Doubles

There is also the option of booking with a friend to take part in a HYROX Double. Both participants complete ALL 8 Running Stations together and split the Zones as they wish. The Zones can be split between participants in any way they choose. Usually, each participant does half of every zone in a ‘You Go I Go’ format. E.g. 250m each on the Ski Erg etc.
